ANNUAL CONCERT 2010
              Our Annual Concert was held at Sir Thomas Picton School , Haverfordwest on Saturday 16th October 2010. Our guests were             the Marazion Apollo Male Choir from Cornwall ,a young tenor Tristan Griffiths and a young percussionist Philip Howells.      
   
             Also at the concert Graham Owens was presented with the chorister of the year award. Graham has now been appointed          
    Vice-Chairman of the Choir.            
             The proceeds of the programme sales and other raffles were presented to the Noah`s Ark Childrens Hospital Appeal. A cheque            for £400 was presented to the Appeal representative, Mr Hall from Fishguard. Also this year, the choir purchased a shield in   memory of chorister Ynyr Evans who passed away in 2009 aged 91.....

             Ynyr was renowned for his 100% attendance at choir practice and concerts so the shield was presented to the chorister with      the best attendance in the past 12 months. The first recipient of this award was Mr. Maldive Evans.

Paul Sartori Presentation chorister of the year

              Presentation of a cheque for £500 from the choir President Bill Morriss to Mrs Mathias of the Paul Sartori Foundation                             and the presentation of the "Chorister of the Year" trophy by Colonel Peter Howells to Ken Davies who retired from singing                                                with the choir in the summer after 15 years as a Tenor . Ken  will be missed by all in the choir.                                          
        The concert was attended by around 200 people who were entertained by the choir with a varied proramme as well as solo    contributions from very talented young people from the area.
              The Soprano soloist was Eirlys Myfanwy Davies from Llanelli--the winner of the Welsh Association of Male Voice Choirs 2008           competition for Welsh singers.      
             Also performing was young violinist Lilly Whitehurst.Lilly was the winner of the Pembrokeshire heat of the Texaco Young           musician of 2009 competition.
